alpe di siusi '81, in ricordo del '79_2009

The little photo Alpe di Siusi is taken from my family album. The image was taken by my father in the Alpe di Siusi, where two years before the Italian photographer Luigi Ghirri had photographed an old couple, hand in hand, walking towards the mountain. The souvenir photo of the kids, who frontally look into the camera, hand in hand generates an unexpected process of analogies and a series of questions about photography: influences, collective imagination, generations’approaches to a medium.
